Change of Plans

That's right bitches, at the eleventh hour, Chuck B has cometh through with company tickets to the Yankee game tonight...so instead of that Wilco show at Radio City, which now looking back was an extremely questionable decision, I'll be right behind the Yankee dugout (I won't bash Corporate America any more!) for Game One of the ALDS. Let me hear you work on it: Moooooooooooose.

Down, down, down, Santana's goin' down.

Were the Yanquis, like the Cowboy himself, looking past the Twinkies last night? Santana didn't have his best stuff but was impressive none-the-less. First time I've seen him pitch this year. The thing that struck me most about the game was that the Twins responded to every one of those "typical Yankee challenges." You know those of which I speak...it seems like every post-season, the Yankees are able to grind their opponent into dust by coming through continually in the clutch. The Twins were unphased. I still like the Yankees in five (well, I don't like it but I'll think they'll win). This was the second consecutive sporting event of interest during which I nearly phoned the Cowboy. Alas, I thought Wilco beckoned. I'm curious to hear your thoughts.
