Well, must be nice to take a day off whenever you want. Ass.

Poophop, if you read this, can I steal your bit about guilty people, after being found guilty, turning around and saying that they did it (or was it guilty people found innocent admitting guilt?). I think that's really f'in' funny, and was going to steal it without giving you credit. Is this ok?

I hope everyone is having as terrible a day as I am.

First of all, Shit-for-Nuts, you've taken more days off than I have over the past year, both on the blogs and in real life.

Secondly, I did post today, and for the second time in the last few days, I lost it. This one was completely my fault though, even though I'll continue to blame Blogger for it. I went to cut and paste it into a word doc to be safe, and I accodentally pasted over my whole post, then couldn't even undo it. Awfulness. I suck.

Lastly, was that poophop or the Ambiguously Gay Uno who came up with that idea?

And sixthly, I'm having a good day other than the blogging foul-up, but I'll agree with Ahren and say, "crap for crap." By the way Ahren, great post about the joke only you would get. Fantabulous stuff.

blogger has been fucking with me nonstop since yesterday morning. i have not 1 but 2 posts ready and waiting for them to not be shat on by the blogging kingpin, who no doubt wears a monacle, uses a cane, and has a very nice coke habit.

At 2:06 PM, Blogger ethan said...

oh shit, does that make mulgrew the blogging kingpin?

At 2:23 PM, Blogger Jason Mulgrew said...

1) I don't wear a monacle, but occassionally I wear rather cool Buddy Holly/Elvis Costello glasses that, for the record, I've had for 6 years, thus way before they were cool;

2) I only use a cane when it's damp;

3) I haven't touched cocaine in at least four hours.

...

Ok, so I'm touch cocaine now, but that's not the point.

And yes, Ace, I do take days off, but it's hard to stay fresh when you've only got a limited sphere of material to work with.

Also, is it me, or has the Sports Guy just given up? Jesus Christ - it's almost embarrassing. Not to mention that awful cartoon he had.

I hate myself.

well, mulgrew, i think it was the uno's bit (who knows), so if i can steal it from him ,then u can steal it from me, theft for everyone!!!!

The comment was mine and i'll appreciate the appropriate text reference. Or maybe a footnote. Nah- i've always been partial to a good text reference (Uno, p22).

Remember me always for my comments on obviously guilty criminals. And for my love of cheese. But that one's no gouda...

i 'd like to make a motion to delete Notes from the Under...Stimulated from the links section, whoever's blog that is, god bless them, but, they rarely post, and it just gets me that much more pissed everytime i am bored and go there to see more non posting, all opposed???? NAAAAYYYY

walking to work this morning i saw something i dont think i have ever seen before, no, not a grown man naked, a clear umbrella. i always get pissed when its raining and i cant see anyone's face, read: hot chicks faces, because umbrellas are covering them, well, today i say thank u hottie with a clear umbrella, thank u very much

good point on the sports guy cartoon mulgrew. i am flabbergasted that he okayed that. it is beyond horrible. i watched it like 4 times to make sure i wasn't missing something. ick.

poops brings up an interesting issue with the non-blogger. i know she started a new job and all, but this is just getting to be too much. a while back ahren implemented a "penalty box" section to his links, for those who hadn't blogged in 2-3 weeks or something. he took it down, but that's some clever shit, no? you should pirate that (with proper notation of course).

and blogger still won't let me post. wah.

That is a pretty good idea, a penalty box...but I don't wanna steal anyone's idea, nor do I wanna pressure anyone into writing (not that LG would ever feel pressure to write from Ace's penalty box). So I'm leaving it up, no changes.

Great comments today from everybody, thanks for picking up the...um, Slack. Yaaaaaay, puns!

And poophop, I have hated all umbrellas since the 6/17 Phish show on Coney Island...see that post for further details. Goddamn umbrellas, obstructing views of doped out fans everywhere.

wow, thats BRILLIANT, thats why ahren has a blog, and i dont, well done, i still say a red card (i hope thats the one that gets u booted from the game, otherwise this wont make sense) is more deserving than penalty minutes for the notes from the under stimulated blogger

all these comments about the shittiness of blogger reminded me of yesterday's story about merriam-webster's top requested words on their web site; "blog" was numero uno. not that that is remotely interesting, but what is interesting to me was the 10th most looked-up word: defenestration. why are so many people interested in some fancy word for jumping out of a window? am i missing something?

At 4:05 PM, Blogger Jason Mulgrew said...

Three words: Defenestration of Prague.

Suck it.

At 4:22 PM, Blogger Ace Cowboy said...

The only thing about AP Euro that ever perked me up was the mere mention of the Defenstration of Prague. Oh, and also the Tennis Court Oaths. I don't even remember what that was, maybe something in France before the French Revolution?

We have franch fries. And franch dressing. And franch bread. And to drink, ta-daaa. Perrooo. Name this classic flick.

ooo, great clue gyps. i was stumped until that appeared.

Not fair, Gypsy, you were older than 6 when that came out! I did always love watching Better Off Dead on HBO growing up though...the Cosell Asians are fantastic, and Booger from Nerds is a God-send in that flick. That's not to mention Ricky's mother, as quoted above...

Hey, like my great-grandma Moynihan said while dragging on a Pall Mall, "Ya gotta use what ya got, kid." Money, fame, old age. Whatever.
