Hoosier Daddy?

After an embarassing second-half drubbing at the hands of Arizona State a few weeks ago, the Northwestern Wildcats have reeled off four straight victories, including the Big Ten opener against the IU Hoosiers last night. Break up the 8-5 Cats.

Northwestern 73, Indiana 52. Woo Woo, W-U. There goes Happy...

beating indiana is a good sign, but i'm still concerned. a bunch of their wins are against some serious pattsies. they need to improve on FT's.

ragardless, i see them beating some of the better big ten teams (which is always fun) and maybe/hopefully squeaking into the NIT. i mean, having tony parker's little brother has to count for something, right?

beating IU is NOT a good sign, as our team blows big flying donkey dick, if u were to beat, say, Illinois, then yes, said sign would be good

a win against any big ten team is a large achievement for the cats in my book, no matter how bad that team may be. suffereing as the joke-team of theconference for decades, it is validating to know you can piss with the big guys at times.

I agree with Hoobs...we're a basketball joke, so beating ANYBODY real is a huge plus for us. NU is the only team from a major conference never to make the NCAA tourney -- so let us have this one, guys.

TJ Parker is weak sauce though...I can see him shooting 12% from the field this season.

12% from the floor and patchy facial hair: (not) a winning combination.

I have patchy facial hair, so I'll give him a pass there...but his shooting is truly abysmal, and there's no free pass on that.
