Missing, Not Dead

I have a lot to say about this story, but I gots no time. So draw your own goddamn conclusions, and if you really want, you can try to guess what I'd write.

I will say, this line troubles me to no end: "And all of those years, she has been working at a Sam's Club in Florence, Ky. She is a department manager, has invested in a 401(k) retirement plan and owns stock options. She never changed her name and continued to use the same Social Security number." But I'm not in law enforcement, so I'm not sure how this works.

Regardless, craisins.

I got angry just reading that. Not only should she be forced to come back home, but she should be treated like that runaway bride. All of those resources spent looking for her just because she wasn't getting money from mommy and daddy and she was sucking dick for coke. She should pay back what was spent looking for her.

And the quote about mom saying she won't be mad at her. She's a dumbass too. If that were my daughter, she'd be slapped so hard her future children would be born with my handprint on their faces.

Stupid, spoiled, ungreatful bitch.

I just thought it was a funny new lesson to be tought to children... don't do well in school and you'll end up in Florence, KY working in a Sam's Club...

I don't get it - in my (insurance) investigation experience, I could just plugging in a Soc Sec # and a name can get you all sorts of info - if you've got a bank, a credit card, a mailing address, any criminal or public record, and you're found.

Seems impossible that they couldn't find this beeyotch. But then again, they are from Texas.

If the girl wants to run away, I don't have any problem with that, other than I think it's a pretty mean thing to do to her family. But what kind of incompetent fucks did they have looking for her? Is it really that hard in 2005 to find anyone who is not actually hiding? She's using the same SSN, and you can't find her? I think I'd ask someone what the fuck they were actually doing when they said they were looking for her.

This story is they never found her is completely ridiculous. In my next life I'm coming back as either w weatherman, an economist, or the guys who looked for this chick.

It seems like you never get any shit for endless failures.
