"It's Hard Work"

Check out these numeros intersante from the Daily Kos:

49 - the number of vacations that Bush has taken since he was inaugurated in 2001

5 - the number of weeks that Bush will spend on vacation, starting yesterday. It is the longest presidential vacation in at least 36 years.

319 - August 3, 2005 was the 319th day Bush has spent on vacation since his 2001 inauguration.

20 percent - the fraction of Bush's presidency that he has spent on vacation

I'm no mathmedouche, but those numbers seem to be just a little bit higher than the average American's paid vacation time of 13 days a year. I thought Bush hated the French, why's he acting like 'em?

To be somewhat fair, presidents do tend to work on vacation.

Now back to normal.

That's way too much time away from the office. We have offices for a reason. They are set up for productivity. Ranches? Not so much.

Paul, what do ya mean?? He's got a fax machine their on the ranch...and he can work on, initiatives while there at the ranch.

On another Bush least the administration finally worked out the current disaster in Iraq's verbage back to the "war on terror" instead of the newly coined phrase, "Global struggle against violent extremists" or some shit like that...ya know Bush wanted it changed back because there's no way in hell that little ditti was gonna role off his toungue in a press conference.

Oh man...don't get me started on this guy. Thanks, Ace!
