More Sports

The Road to the Super Bowl just got wider, trashless lanes: The Jets have reportedly signed All-Pro cornerback Ty Law. If this guy can stay healthy and keep that Belichick-sized chip on his shoulder, he'll combine with David Barrett and Erik Coleman to form a pretty dangerous secondary.

This, if it turns out to be true, might be exactly what the Jets needed, as Law would fill the most glaring hole on the roster. I already posted a ridiculously rosy outlook for the 2005 season, but this has me grinning like an Iowan ghost. See you in Detroit, peoples.

While we're talkin' foosball, debuted a cool new feature on its site today: The Offensive Revolution. As part of the page's 2005 NCAA Football Preview, Stewart Mandel looks at five game-changing offensive schemers and their effect on the game.

Not only are the articles fantastic, but the site even has a Virtual Playbook, complete with audio narration from the coaches themselves (S. Carolina's Steve Spurrier, Florida's Urban Meyer, Louisville's Bobby Petrino, Texas Tech's Mike Leach and Boise State's Chris Petersen).

This whole thing's a great read. Do yourself a favor and check it out.
