Party Like It's 1998

Welcome back Vinny Greenballs. We've missed you?

The NFL's sixth all-time leading passer and 42-year-old ageless wonder (OK, so he's not so ageless) is back in Jets' Green. I've never loved Brooks Bollinger so much in my life.

Look, I was a big Testaverde fan -- the guy took us to within 30 minutes of the Super Bowl in January 1999. But does he still have it? More so than anyone else out there? Jeff George or some other washed up hooligan wasn't available? I think we've got some problems on the depth chart.

I'ma huge fan of our receiving corps, so here's to hoping someone can throw Coles and McCareins and Chrebet and Cotchery the damn ball.

Thanks for the update. I'm going to try to unload Coles on my fantasy football team before the other owners find out.

i'm scared, although i think vinny would be better than brooks...brooks sucked in wisconsin. my friend who is a huuuuge wisconsin fan and jets fan is so strongly against bollinger as a qb, and i have to think that the jets are too. just imagine, pennington tears his rotator cuff mid game, and when fiedler gets hurt, they would rather risk further injury to their poster-boy qb. that's how bad this guy is.

Trust me, Vinny doesn't have it anymore.

yeah vinny doesn't have "it" anymore, but bollinger has never had "it" and never will. vinny can throw the ball downfield better than brooks anyday, although i'd love for brooks to prove me wrong.

i don't if you guys should be getting your hopes up - last year testes-verde needed to crow hop just to throw a screen pass. the only balls you will see downfield will be on punts and kickoffs.

0 for 3 on the best bets this week, huh Ace?

I hope you didn't actually put any money down this time...

Also, what happened to the Jets talked to Quincy "I love coke" Collins? He's a better answer than Vinny for sure...

I love Quincy Collins almost as much as I love Brandon Arroyo.

What about Kerry Carter?

Yous should cease and desist with this jets crap and start pulling for Eli Manheim.

It all depends on how quick Don Fiedler can return from his own shoulder injury.

Ace - we're done for '05 - have to look towards next year.

Vinnie's slower than an elephant on roller skates and is going to get creamed in the pocket - it's not going to be pretty.
