Okay, One More

Chipotle Bob just sent over a bonus sixth video for y'all. You want a little Hot Sundae? I think you do. I know I do.

I'm so excited. I'm so excited. I'm so...scared.

Jesse's having problems with frickin' Geometry? She'll never get into Stansbury.

I love the generic Saved By The Bell music that they used in the stead on any credible pop music that would have cost them money.

It's especially great when they're all in band (the one and only time. I think Zach is playing a tuba or a french horn or something) and Jesse starts dancing, and the dancing in Band doesn't embarrass her, oh no. She gets embarassed because a short guy tries to dance with her.

In band class.

How mortifying.

The "generic Saved by the Bell pop music" would make excellent jammy-jam band fodder.

Noonan, I never would've figured you as the type who could cite chapter and verse on Saved by the Bell. Just curious, did anyone else have a rumor going through their school circa 1994 that the actor who played Zach had died? That was a popular one at my school, though I personally never fell for it.

Absolutely, MDS, Zach Morris definitely died a few times in the mid-90s. Blossom, too. I'm pretty sure Mayim Bialik addresses the fatal car accident rumors on her website, though I'm not sure I can ever bring myself to click on her website.

People who can cite chapter and verse of SBTB are given immediate credibility in my eyes. Not sure why, but it's true.

I always wanted to throw a party in autumn and call it "Lisa Turtle Presents the Fall Ball," but I always forget.

I don't think this says much about Paul's appreciation for SBTB. He could probably cite chapter and verse on just about any show that he's ever watched. He just remembers stupid shit with incredible clarity.

I did watch a fair amount of SBTB though. It was on in the "right after school" hour when I couldn't muster up the strength to do anything else.

SBTB was great. All-star cast, and an exhibition of sit-com conventions, from the too-small basketball court, to the girl wrestler (who pulls an absolutely hysterical move to win her match), to the parapalegic girl that we never see again, to Screech winning the Miss Bayside pageant.

And of course, everyone is good enough to be in a band.

Slater's match against Nedic is one of the greatest highlights in sports history.

I definitely don't know SBTB as well as you guys do, but the one thing I remember is when Zach and Slater got into a fight, and it was essentially a draw. I just thought that was stupid. Slater would absolutely destroy Zach if they got in a fight.

Blossom was pretty recently on Curb Your Enthusiasm, she lookseven worse than she used to, but I'm pretty sure she's still alive.

And Zack has actually turned out to be a pretty good actor. He was great on NYPD Blue (far and away better than Ricky Schroder if not exactly DavidCaruso or Jimmy Smits), and good in a small role in Over There. I think he was also in a Law and Order episode.

JR, I definitely saw that Blossom cameo on Curb...but she definitely died at some point in the mid-90s. Maybe it wasn't a car accident, I think she was alcohol poisoning. I think MADD planted that story to scare teenagers.
