Welcome Home, Andy

A warm welcome back to my favorite Yankee of the recent dynasty...

The intense stare and dimpled chin have been missed in the Bronx... the championships return with Mister Pettitte, mark those palabras.

unless his elbow traveled back in time and exists in 1998, expect 15-20 starts, four DL stints, and his good name tarnished. oh, and probably a homosexual act. you were better off with gil meche.

To say the Yanks would be better off with Gil Meche from a talent, potential, health, financial, sexyness or even best-case-scenario standpoint is silly talk.

clearly i wasn't factoring in sexiness. that's why jeter lobbied to get him back, you know.

Wait, was that a joke about Jeter's sexuality? I haven't heard one of those in a while! Zing!

Love this deal. What's your downside in signing Andy Pettitte for a single year for market value (or even more)? Not too much... he's probably not going to be awful, and even if by some chance he is, it's one year.

Just saw that there's a player option on Pettitte's deal, so it's pretty much two years if he's bad. Still not much risk.

love this signing! i'll also never understand why yankee haters resort to gay jokes, especially about jeter.

I think it's clear that coach is either gay or related to Jeter.
